Shadow is doing really well in her new foster home. She adapted to her new household within a day or two, and is VERY loveable, and CONSTANTLY wants to be held or have attention. She is definitely a “people cat” and is not one to just sit and observe. Vinny
|
Vinny is a 5 1/2 month old pit mix. More of a "mix" but we aren't sure with what. Vinny was a birthday gift to a girl whose mother did not want nor like dogs. He was kept a "secret" in the garage until Mom found out and wanted him gone immediately. Diamonds received the call and went and got our new furry friend right away. He is currently in foster with his best dog buddy Snoopy. Vinny is now so happy and spunky, he loves everything. Cats are to be determined but we cant see Vinny not liking anything. Felicia is a loving, affectionate and playful marbled calico kitty. She loves to play with dangly toys and prefers balls and mice that make noise when she plays with them. Onyx is a black boy kitten. He’s taken a liking to romping with his brother’s around the house. He chases feet while their moving and if you don’t pay attention to him, he nibbles at your toes. He likes toys that have dangling things, and if he can, he carries them around the house with him, playing with them as he’s walking. Onyx too is keen on cuddling with people when he’s tired or when it’s night time. In the morning he’s often found sleeping in the crook of your arm, or on your neck. Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi is a black boy kitten with an interesting splotch of white hairs on his belly. Bon Jovi’s quirk is he seems to like to get into the bathtub and doesn’t appear to have much fear of water. He likes wrestling with his brothers and often wanders around until he finds them. Bon Jovi's the more vocal of the bunch, meowing loudly when he wants attention. He likes to sing just like a rockstar!! Bon Jovi seems to prefer sleeping in the company of other kittens/cats as well. Jack
|
Jack is back and ready to find his fur-ever home. Unfortunately Jack was returned by his adopters because they felt he needed a fenced in yard where he could run free. Jack was tied up most of his life and now with a taste of freedom, he tends to want to run all the time. Until fully trained he walks best on a harness because he is known to slip collars. Jack is awesome and loves to play with other dogs and is also great with cats. We do not recommend any other animals smaller than a cat in the household because hounds have a prey drive. He would be best in a home with no small kids because although he thinks he is playing, he can tend to be a rough-houser. Jack needs someone who is willing to work with him and give him firmness when needed. He can be a stubborn boy at times!! Jack would make the right family a perfect addition. Charlie
|
Charlie is a very nice dog! Fostering him has been very enjoyable. First, he is very well behaved. He is house trained and does not chew inappropriately or make messes when left alone. He is also a quiet fella. We have a fenced yard and Charlie enjoys running around. He comes when called and enjoys the attention of humans. When I first met him, his spirits were down. He had been in a pound and it was taking a toll on his outlook on life. Human contact and a chance to romp and play were all he needed. I have taken him down to walk around my neighbor’s pond with his dog, a Lab. He loved the change in scenery and got along well with the Lab, also named Charlie! As for looks, Charlie is gorgeous and a real head turner. His big smile, his black and white fur, and his burly build make for quite a first impression. He is a teddy bear in all ways, except one. On a leash, he is quite strong. So if you are a weight lifter or want to build up your biceps, he will be great. If you are 90 pound weakling, Charlie might be too much dog for you. I am in my 60’s and not especially strong. I can handle him but I found it tiring. So except for special occasions, Charlie mostly gets his exercise in the fenced yard play with my other dogs. I read that he doesn’t like little dogs that get in his face. I can’t attest to that. Charlie has been patiently waiting for the right people to come along and notice him. Colin
|
Colin is a beautiful Blonde brindle pit mix that came to us under very sad circumstances. Colin has never lived indoors and has spent his entire life outside until now! He is a wonderful dog that had to be hand fed his first night with his foster family and needed two baths because he was so dirty. Colin is doing much better but is still very uncomfortable in the house. He has not had an accident in the house though. Even though he is so new to everything he is a wonderful playful loving dog. He is very friendly and is great with the foster dog and the child he lives with. Colin is at most about 1 1/2 years old. He loves to play and is comfortable outside. Mia
|
Mia is a small pit mix that may also have some hound in her. She is very gentle, very sweet and horribly traumatized. Mia is red and white and you just have to meet her to understand how special she is! No, she is not a beauty queen but her beauty comes from within. We think Mia has spent her whole life chained up out back and was used as a breeder. It is quite clear by her actions that she has been beaten. Mia has never been in a house. She will drop to the ground if you are walking her and make a sudden move because she is scared. It took her foster parents 40 minutes to convince her to come in the house. They didn't want to pick her up and make her go in because they wanted her to be able to do it of her own free will. Today Mia has been snuggling with her 8 year old foster sister. Mia will need some time to heal and this family is very willing to keep her for as long as it takes for her to learn to trust. She gives good kisses and would like nothing more than a family that loves to give her some to. It amazes us how after everything she has gone through she still craves human contact. Gracie is a 62lbs, medium sized, beautiful girl! She’s one big ball of muscle, very strong and currently under treatment for heartworms....due to her not being vaccinated early on. Gracie is being patient with her "cuddling" and crate time with her zebra pillow and blanket. She's fantastic with other dogs, completely submissive.
